Guadalupe Mountains Nationa Park

Hiked the Frijole Ranch Trail, which was great, and then tried the Guadalupe Peak Trail. That's a tough hike for those that live at sea level. And we should have paid better attention to this warning from the National Park web site, "During the windy season (November through March, annually) the park often experiences high wind speeds (above 45MPH) and dangerous gusts (50MPH to above 80MPH). These strong winds can pose a risk to those hiking, camping, or driving."
