A colorful kite.

  • This is the view we had from the porch on our condo the first morning in Ruidoso. We were stunned, as we could see none of this the night before when we drove in due the snow.
  • Ruidoso was supposed to hold a kite festival on the weekend of our arrival, but ironically enough it was cancelled due to high winds! The wind blew a festival tent over the day before injuring a couple of kite fliers. However, the kite fliers who were there made the best of a gusty but beautiful Saturday morning.
