  • The old railroad tunnel at the Old Tunnel Wildlife Management Area (WMA).  It is home to roughly 2 million bats that all exit within about 10 minutes every evening.  The tunnel is about 900 feet long.
  • A ghostly fog of bats emerges from the Old Tunnel, nearly blotting out the trees behind them.
  • Bats leaving the Old Tunnel gain altitude and fly off into the evening sky.
  • Bats exit the Old Tunnel and fly off into the evening sky in search of their dinner.
