Baytown Nature Center
Baytown Nature Center, Baytown, TX - December 31, 2011
Very foggy, warm (75 degrees) morning. The mosquitos were relentless, but what a beautiful park. If I understand correctly, it used to be a housing subdivision, but it is very low and regular flooding and ultimately Hurricane Ike made it unlivable. Aside from roads and some rubble, there is very little sign of housing. There are trails and various pavilions and gardens now.
